 fiber management systems in customer premise locations is a growing need that Sumitomo’s wall mount and rack mount panels can help to fill. Both the wall mount and rack mount panels can be terminated on fiber cables, OSP/OFNR, using a direct splicing method within the panel.
The rack mount can also be terminated in combination with a splice shelf. The wall mounts are configured in a low-profile design to take advantage of limited wall space within the customers’ equipment area and still meet all the attenuation requirements. The rack-mounted panels and splice shelves are also low-profile units that require a minimum of bay height, which is also an advantage, especially when sharing space with active components.
