Sumitomo shelves are designed to add flexibility and reliability to fiber management. Featuring removeable top panels, the TSL 1.7 and TSL 5 facilitate easy access and installation. The TSL 1.7W is designed to be either rack or wall mounted and will accept direct splicing or pre-terminated cable entering the shelf from the rear.
The splice tray area permits the use of single and mass fusion splicing of ribbon, loose tube, and bundle cables. Full access to connectors and the panel adapters is afforded, as well as safe storage and termination of fiber jumpers.
Constructed of superior, lightweight, high-grade aluminum, the shelves are easy to install and can be configured in several different builds. Pre-installed connectors can be either directly terminated or pre-spliced to OFNR or indoor/outoor cables.
