Sumitomo’s Armored Drop cable is a low cost cable designed to reduce deployment cost and eliminate the need for special tools. The corrugated steel armor gives the cable added protection against rodents. The absence of strength rods gives the cable increased flexibility. The small diameter maximizes duct space allowing for more fiber density.
