The DriCore loose tube Indoor/Outdoor optical cables are designed for both outdoors and indoors in areas required by NEC to be riser rated Type OFNR. These cables elminate the need for a separate point of demarcation within 50 feet of where the outdoor cables enter the building. These cables can be run through risers directly to a convenient hub or splicing closet. Dry waterblocking elements replace the flooding compound, making DriCore a cleaner and faster cable to prepare than conventional flooded cables.
